Where there are waves, this pom will surf them...!

ahem, i say surf...I actually body board and have just come back from a long weekend down in Cornwall. There is a place there called Newquay, the surfing capital on England (yes we have one)! Ok, so i was head to toe in wetsuit, including socks, but the waves were gooood. This is one of my summer loves. My other, cricket. Give me a bat and a ball and i'm happy.

I have just finished my first year exams at uni, studying Science in Health, Exercise and Sport. I must strongly point out here that it is not Sport science, Sport studies or Sport and PE! These are studied by losers at another campus of my uni, dubed the Up My Own Arse campus or UMOA if you will. Here at UMOA, people walk around in their sponserd kit thinking that they all play for team "me" and us minions should bow down to them and kiss there (usually flip floped covered in -2ºC) feet! Now, i am not at all bitter towards these people as they have been known to bite when confronted!

Soon I will be leaving our warm, sunny summer in my home town of Ramsey (the best english fenland town) to go to the slightly less warmer Melbourne, Australia on 14 June. One is most definatley highly excited about ones expedition and cannot wait...
